Where Opportunity Meets Talent - Spring NWMT Job & Opportunity Fair Recap

Though it was a cold, blustery day even though it was mid-April, that didn’t stop hundreds of students and job seekers from descending upon the NWMT Jobs & Opportunity Fair and High School Career Fair last Thursday, April 16th. An estimated 750-800+ high school students packed the Flathead County Fairgrounds Trade Center to meet dozens of businesses and organizations to learn more about employers, industries, and career paths available in the Flathead. High school students from 10 different high school districts in a 4-county region utilized their time at the fair to engage directly with employers. Once the high school fair concluded our exhibiting employers had a short break before welcoming hundreds of local job seekers in the afternoon. 85+ employers representing a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, finance/banking, skilled trades, education and childcare, advanced manufacturing, retail, hospitality and more were ready to meet their future team members.
